Tom Seeley has resigned his position as VATUSA9. We would like to thank Tom for his hard work and dedication to our online community. The VATUSA9 staff position is now open for application.

 

VATUSA Southern Region Air Traffic Director – VATUSA9

 

This position is appointed by and reports directly to the VATUSA Division Director.

 

The position has significant duties in managing the day-to-day operation of the

 

Southern Region, VATUSA. This region encomp[Mod - Happy Thoughts]es 6 ARTCCs of varying size

 

both geographically and in numbers of active controllers.

 

This position requires a dedicated person who has the time to give - do not

 

apply if you have the slightest doubt about the time commitment.

 

Due to the senior level the position entails, it is required that applicants have attained

 

at minimum, their C1 rating and have at least 12 months docomeented VATSIM experience.

 

All applicants shall also have a record clear of any regulatory infractions over the past 12 months.

 

Ideally, the applicant should have experience as an ARTCC ATM, other VATSIM management-level

 

position or show strong experience in organizing and leading dynamic management groups.

and are due no later than midnight Wednesday, October 8Th, 2008.

Oh man....i'm sorry to see an old dog go........I've enjoyed working with you not only the past 18 months but the years before you were the ATM at ZMA............................Most certainly a management gem has been lost in VATUSA.

Tom,

 

It was great working with you in the southern region. You were very good at what you do becuase you thought out alot of the major decisions really well and once you make your decision it does not back fire. VATUSA has some really big shoes to fill. C ya around
