There will be no changes of the current frequencies and radio callsigns (Langen Radar). EDLL_CTR -> EDGG_N_CTR 135.35 (Norvenich Sector, main center Dusseldorf) EDFF_CTR -> EDGG_S_CTR 127.50 (Spessart Sector, main center Frankfurt) EDLL_N_CTR -> EDGG_H_CTR 129.17 (Hamm Sector) EDLL_E_CTR -> EDGG_P_CTR 135.65 (Paderborn Sector) EDFF_G_CTR -> EDGG_G_CTR 127.97 (Gedern Sector) EDFF_O_CTR -> EDGG_O_CTR 125.57 (Osmax Sector) EDFF_K_CTR -> EDGG_K_CTR 129.67 (Karlsruhe Sector) EDFF_R_CTR -> EDGG_CTR 124.37 (ex ROLIS Sector, now covering whole EDGG FIR) EDFF_I_CTR -> EDGG_I_CTR 128.95 (FIS complete EDGG Sector) EDLL_I_CTR -> closed ------ EDUU_CTR -> EDUU_CTR 133.65 (no changes) EDLL_U_CTR -> EDLL_U_CTR 133.85 (no changes for now) If you have any questions concerning these designtor changes feel free to contact the FIR Staff of Frankfurt and Dusseldorf. Christian, is there a map available which shows the new sectors? Of course when arriving enroute we can just wait for the handoff or for the "contact me" message (yes, i know about that discussion), but it may get difficult when starting at a minor airport inside Langen - would be nice to have a chart which shows whom we have to contact. Alexander Klink 844035 Posted October 16, 2008 at 03:43 PM Posted October 16, 2008 at 03:43 PM The sectors look the same as before, just the names changed - and on a normal day you will only be confronted with EDGG_N_CTR, which is the same as the current EDLL_CTR, and EDGG_S_CTR which is the current EDFF_P_CTR - you won't have to get used to new sectors at that time.
