Hello guys,

we've created a new sector file for the UUEE Sheremetyevo airport and discovered some problems with its imaging in the Euroscope.

That's how it's displaying in the VRC:

now compare it to what we got in the ES:

what could cause the problem? any thoughts?

thanks in advice,

Dmitri

Is the layout in the *.sct or in .ese file? The only thing I can think of is the coordinates and some mismatch with them. Can you send me the file for troubleshooting, on the email in my profile?

thanks for reply,

the sector file has been made in *.sct format only . As for coordinates, we don't think this is a primary cause as the VRC shows the taxiway boundaries absolutely correct. I've sent you the sector file via e-mail, thanks once again.

Dmitry,

It look really awful. From the picture I would guess it to be some kind of rounding problems. It seems that some coordinates are rounded to the closest second or so value. I would be happy to take a look at them too.

Dmitry, error found, on section "GEO", subsection "parking", you have defined by error I guess

N055.58.35,506 E037.24.26,067 N055.58.34,895 E037.24.26,370 parking
replace the "," with "." and all is ok, test both on VRC and EuroScope (ES doesn't understand "," in coordinates, VRC does), looking quite good. I have send the fixed ssct file to Diman Dimanski. Have a blue skies
