I want to include the hand off text command in my alias.txt for any ATC active in my area.

 

I set it up as ...

 

.ho Contact $atccallsign[($1)] on freq $freq[($1)]

 

... per user manual but it won't recognize the controllers ID

 

When setting the command in the alias as ...

 

.ho Contact $atccallsign(1A) on freq $freq(1A)

 

... it does recognize 1A's callsign and frequency but this does not give me a custom code entry option for each time of use.

 

I tried also

.ho Contact $atccallsign($1) on freq $freq($1)

but no joy.

Dissregard, I RTFM'ed a bit more carefully and I found out I need to use TAB after inserting the ATC ID

 

.ho Contact $atccallsign($1) $radioname($1) on freq. $freq($1)

 

Now works fine.
