VRC forum youll find lots of very cool shots of other setups.

this is my Miami setup, Clearance -> Approach. actually for clearance i usually zoom out to the entire ARTCC to see all the airways, etc.. 2 Windows open are Miami and FLL. the cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] D's, majority have the same runway layout as miami or FLL, so not much to miss with those. unless theyre packed with traffic (very rare) then i wont have those open.

Hey Callum!

I like your EGCC_GND sector file. Where did you get it? It's much less cluttered than the one I am using, and I like the orientation. So much better for single monitor use.

I'm pilot only, but have always wanted to ask how ATC sees us, and what it looks like.

Cool stuff, keep them coming!

Thanks!

The VSCS emulates the COMM panel in VRC. The red/yellow/blue buttons are override/landline/monitor features, respectively, for the various positions. This system works especially well with the two sound cards. Pilots in the earpiece, coordination over the speakers or vice-versa.

Hi all,

My setup for a normal screen is a little bit more colorful than the default Matias, but looks similar:

clipboard01.jpg

But I have some, probably more interesting screenshots too. The next example is the built-in arrival manager screen.

The horizontal axe represents the distance in minutes while the vertical axe shows the altitude in feet. The leader line shows the 2 minutes estimation.

clipboard02.jpg

The next one is a gate allocation screen. Shows the gate allocations for arrivals and departures.

It is fully implemented as plug-in for EuroScope and available as source code.

clipboard03.jpg

My last example is another plug-in. Also available as source code. The precision approach plug-in. Well at least something similar

Here is my setup for APP. The airport you see here is LFMN-Nice/Côte d'Azur http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/1513/lfmnappoj2.png You just happen to see the STAR's for that particular airport (Yellow lines).

(By the way, I'll be controlling LFMN_APP tonight 16/12/08 at 1930Z-2130Z)

Here is my setup for CTR. The one you see here is LFFF_CTR Paris Control

And finally, my Oceanic setup. You see Gander OCA CZQX on the left. Shanwick EGGX on the right. New York bottom left, and Santa Maria bottom right.

It's a real world (or real world style) US approach radar video map. It depicts markers, off-field NDBs and VORs, position splits, ILS and non-precision approaches, obstructions, possibly some minor airports without public approaches, and intersections. There is typically a second map holding just the minimum vectoring altitudes, and sometimes maps with just RNAV approaches.
