[VATASIA Job Opening]Instructor for Mainland China FIRs

Dear All,

 

VATASIA is currently seeking skillful instructors to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist the current Mainland China development team (a.k.a. the VATASIA version of "Hit-squad") team with instructional matters. Such personnel can either base himself or herself at VATASIA or at his/her home FIR/ARTCC (i.e. No transfer of region is mandatory).

 

Instructor of Mainland China FIRs will be responsible for:

1) Management of training affairs with other instructional team members. This includes but not limited to creating training materials, creating exam paper, supervising various promotional exams, attending staff meetings, and providing lessons to students.

 

2) Communicate with other members in developement team regarding training and membership issues

 

3) Report to VATASIA staff member frequently regarding the performance of the ATC team and training issues.

 

Candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

 

1) Currently holding a C3 certification or equivalent. Holding an instructor certification is a plus.

 

2) Candidates with previous staff experience at any FIR/ARTCC/division/region will have priority in the selection process.

 

3) Fluent communication skill in English (both verbal and written) is a must. Candidates with proficiency in written Chinese language (Han) or fluency in Mandarin Chinese will have priority in the selection process.

 

4) Willing to work with VATASIA staff members and other developers of mainland China as a teamplayer.

 

5) Willing to spend approximately at least 12 hours per month on lessons (lectures and Over-the-shoulder), working with other instructors to create training materials and exams, and supervising exams.

 

6) Coordinate with other developers frequently regarding membership and training issues.

 

7) Friendliness, honesty, creativity, and patience will be advantages to succeed in this position.
