Hello all!

I'm seeing something that's kindof confusing me. There's six fixes, which appear on two ZTL STARs, but I can not find any information in AirNav. Here's the list:

  • DANPE used in the KATL VIKNN1 STAR
  • HEWIE used in the KATL VIKNN1 STAR
  • PENSK used in the KCLT JOHNS2 STAR
  • RCHRD used in the KCLT JOHNS2 STAR
  • SPWAY used in the KCLT JOHNS2 STAR
  • WUDDS used in the KCLT JOHNS2 STAR

This is really confusing me. Am I really looking at six fixes which are used in a current STAR but which do not appear in the searchable database of fixes?

Actually just flew into CLT the other night... Flew over PENSK (was in my updated FSNAV database)... Airnav isn't always current, I noticed it takes them a while to update things.

Hi Karl,

You could always update the standard GPS data base.

viewtopic.php?f=28&t=30992

The fixes you are missing will now be present in the GPS.

If you don't use the GPS - entering the fix in the direct-to window will give you

the required information for entry into your FMC.

Hope that is of some help.

Best regards Graham
