I think you use 4 letter code to match the ATC to display in the airport details. VATSIM US airports only use 4 letter code in their ATIS. See below please: As you can see three letter airport code here: In the WEB and in the VMM app, only ATIS is shown: European airports use four letter codes for all the ATC, thus: I know, your web and the app used to show all before.
