Important information about the example plugins

If you experience problems, loading the example plugins stored in the programs folder under \EuroScope\PlugInEnvironment\Examples\Bin\, copy them to the "My Docomeents\EuroScope" folder to the other EuroScope files and try to load them from there. We just realized that they are affected by the "programs"-folder restriction as well. Not sure if Gergely will be around today to create a fixed installer.

It might be necessary to copy some additional dlls from the programs folder to that folder, to make the plugins work (at least it was during beta, and I still have them there). Copy all the mfc... and msvcm... dlls, and the VC80 manifest files from the EuroScope program folder to the EuroScope MyDocomeents folder where you store the plugin dlls.

As Stephan pointed out you need to copy the following files in the Docomeents/EuroScope:

1.mfc80u.dll

2.mfcm80.dll

3.mfcm80u.dll

4.MFCMIFC80.dll

5.Microsoft.VC80.CRT.manifest

6.Microsoft.VC80.MFC.manifest

7.msvcm80.dll

8.msvcp80.dll

9.msvcr80.dll

10.mfc80.dll

11. HoldingListPlugin.dll

12. PrecisionApproachPlugIn.dll

13. Occ.dll

OR

Copy the:

1. HoldingListPlugin.dll

2. PrecisionApproachPlugIn.dll

3. Occ.dll

to the Programs Files\CsernakGergely\EuroScope directly

NOTE: Restart EuroScope, so the changes can be affective.

Hello, when loading the PAR Plugin and opening the PAR Scope EuroScope crashes.

Is this known and/or will be fixed?

I can not confirm with one of my existing ASRs. Can you give a few more details? Are you trying to create a new scope or are you trying to load an existing ASR?

When I clicked on New Precision Approach View, you got a blank screen end when you do a simple click anywhere (for changing the ASR) I got a report from Windoof like ES doesnt work anymore it will be closed now.

Hi Robin,

for the PAR plugin, you have to create a new ASR file via the text editor. See this thread: viewtopic.php?f=71&t=45498

OK it is something that is not docomeented, I have to apologize for that as the plugin section in the wiki was my responsibility, it will be updated after 29th.

For the par, just type ".par" and the popup window will be shown (it has to be typed in the PAR window), fill it according to your airport, save it and then be sure to save the ASR.

Robin, about your program, I can't confirm it. Try to unload the plugin, close ES, open it again, load the plugin and be sure you have Precision Approach Screen on the "Allow to draw on types".

Hope this helps.

I opened "New Approach View" then saved as: (what ever you wish to name)

Save all information when you close EuroScope.

then navigated to "Docomeents/EuroScope, found my new saved approach View ASR. Opened it with Notepad to edit.

It had isplayTypeName:Precision Approach View

DisplayTypeNeedRadarContent:0

DisplayTypeGeoReferenced:0

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Altitude:550

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Description:LHBP 31R PAR

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Heading:310

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Latitude:N047.25.24.615

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Longitude:E019.17.35.260

PLUGIN:Precision Approach Radar:Slope:2.5

Edit to your Airport and runway.

Altitude=your airport elevation , Description: Runway Heading, Lat-Lon, GS is (self explanatory)

Then re-save as the runway you wish it to be. Do the same with all your runways. They will then load correctly

Robin I see you are using Vista (or Windows 7, sorry but I'm on XP so I haven't seen Windows 7 UI ). Are you able to load the rest of the plugins, or is the crush allocated only for the PAR?
