VATSIM North America Region (VATNA)
Position title:
Membership & Strategic Development Director (VATNA4)
Reports to:
Region Director and Deputy Region Director
Duties:
- Review monthly management information concerning member progression and monitor member retention within the Divisions.
- Investigate matters raised in relation to membership issues, such as training delays, member exclusion and new/returning member induction.
- Monitor region transfer requests and coordinate with receiving and sending Regions and/or Divisions, as necessary.
- Work with divisions to improve new member retention, ease-of-joining programs, and new member orientation ideas.
- Routinely monitor Division and sub-Division compliance with VATSIM, Region, and Executive Committee policies.
- Develop progressive plans and programs for continued development of the Region.
- Answer new member questions and provide assistance with Division and Region selection.
- Additional tasks, as directed by the Region Director.
Prerequisites:
- Excellent working knowledge of VATSIM, Region, and Executive Committee policy.
- Previous or current experience as a staff member within a sub-Division or Division (preferred).
- Possess a rating of Controller 1 (C1) or higher.
- Readily available to answer E-Mail within 24-hours.
- A passion to assist new members, and members in need of assistance.
