#467303 I've tried to figure this out for myself, but it's beyond me. I'm running FSX Acceleration on the main computer and vPilot on a networked laptop. I do have SimConnect installed on both computers. I have Squawkbox running on the laptop without problem.

Here's the log file from Global Exceptions. Any suggestions?

#467342 Not sure if it will help, Ross would know better, but the current version is 1.0.5240.39407. Maybe update and give that a shot? Looking again at the list of things that was updated in that build, I would think it wouldn't help. But I've seen stranger things ;) What version of SimConnect?

#467408 I installed the most recent version of vPilot and now get a different error message. It says "vPilot core components could not initialize. Please ensure SimConnect version 10.0.61259.0 is installed".

On my FSX machine in Windows/winsxs I have 10.0.60905.0, 10.0.61242.0 and 10.0.61259.0. On my laptop, in the Windows/winsxs/ directory I have 10.0.60905.0 and 10.0.61242.0 but no 10.0.61259.0.

So apparently I have got to find that version 10.0.61259.0 and get it installed on my laptop. But where oh where to find it? We'll see!

#467413 Ross, Don....

For an oldtimer, I'm about as excited as a kid in a candy store. It's working!!!! Don, thanks for your encouragement and Ross - for the program itself and the link to the correct SimConnect dll.

There are errands to run but I'll work on getting things set up tonight or tomorrow. Thanks again; I couldn't have done it without your help. :D
