#540746 I am new to VATSIM and vPilot and I have just got everything setup by testing audio, etc. while connected as an Observer.
Everything seems to be great except I see aircraft that are floating - what can I do to fix this issue?

I am using P3D v4 and vPilot all on Windows 10, also I did update my FLAi model matching.

Thanks for replying Ross.
No - not with all aircraft.

What I also notice is that I see other aircraft displaying as my exact aircraft.
Obviously I am doing something wrong maybe in the Model Matching setup.

#540755 The floating aircraft are probably using a scenery that is very different from yours. vPilot tries to correct for that, but it's not always possible. If you can, ask those pilots what flight sim, which client, and what scenery they're using.

As for the default aircraft, that setting determines which model is used to render OTHER aircraft when no suitable match is found. You don't put YOUR aircraft in there.

Have a look at the docs:

Thanks again Ross - I live to learn. I figured I did something wrong.
Appreciate your help.
