#536527 My volume suddenly goes very loud or very quiet
Ensure that the following setting is not set in your Audio Properties within Windows:
  1. Right Click your speaker within Windows next to the clock
  2. Select Sounds
  3. Navigate to Communications
  4. Select Do Nothing

Unhandled Exception Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {F447B69E-1884-4A7E-8055-346F74D6EDB3}
This happens when using Windows 10 N or KN editions (for example on Paralells) because they do not contain the media foundation API's. Download and install https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... n-editions to resolve the issue.

InvalidParameter calling waveInOpen
1) Go to Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
2) Choose your preferred setting for Allow apps to access your microphone.
3) Under Choose which apps can access your microphone, turn the individual settings for apps On or Off.

I cannot click some buttons in the settings menu as they disappear off the window
Ensure you are running Windows in 100% scaling.

Disable Audio Efffects tick box not working in Standalone client
This is a known issue that is being fixed as a matter of priority.

I end up on an HF frequency when I dont want to be
We are collecting reports to find out what is occurring here. The dev team expect this is an issue with xPilot. However any help would be appreciated in the HF Frequency Thread.
