Ray Lang Posted January 6, 2010 at 06:25 AM Posted January 6, 2010 at 06:25 AM I have try to use euroscope 3.1 as a Vatsim Supervisor role with the world sector map loaded and found I can't see any traffic or atc online once i go outside of my country of New Zealand. I have no problems with VRC I can go anywhere on the world sector map and see ATC and Aircraft. Any help on this will be great and means i dont need to run two atc cilents. Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted January 6, 2010 at 06:36 AM Posted January 6, 2010 at 06:36 AM Well Gergely can answer that best, maybe there is something wrong with the range in ES (sorry can't test it not SUP ) But check when your are online how much is your range in the Connection Dialog. Ray Lang Posted January 6, 2010 at 07:06 AM Author Posted January 6, 2010 at 07:06 AM Todor I have the position set to controller with a range of 600nm and rating set to Supervisor. With the world sector map i can goto any country in the world and wait a few seconds in VRC and all the aircraft traffic show up including the controllers in the controller list. Like I mention Todor I try it in Euroscope and get no traffic or ATC. So I'm stuck with vrc to do my supervisor role on vatsim. Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted January 6, 2010 at 07:09 AM Posted January 6, 2010 at 07:09 AM While we wait, do one simple test - go to the position you want (a country let say) and type .dcenter and see if you can see the traffic. David Saunders 818672 Posted January 6, 2010 at 11:37 AM Posted January 6, 2010 at 11:37 AM you need to make sure you have show simulated taffic ticked this should then show the whole world. Not too sure why yo udont get the private message box up, it works for me. also found to see the atc for a certain position, you need to change the vis point non-discript self importance signature
Gergely Csernak Posted January 6, 2010 at 09:14 PM Posted January 6, 2010 at 09:14 PM Ray, To be honest I tried to get some SUP access to the servers for testing, but so far I failed. Therefore I myself can not test the SUP functions (like Todor). Just zooming to any position in ES does not change the range center. You must change it manually. Use the .rcenter command. The .findac itself changes the range center automatically. Gergely. EuroScope developer
