Karl Kornel 964857 Posted January 11, 2010 at 08:05 AM Posted January 11, 2010 at 08:05 AM Hello! I would like to describe a recent experience, to know if this behavior or normal or not: If I have a text-only pilot, I will communicate by selecting the aircraft, typing a message, and pressing my Primary frequency send key. When I do this, my primary frequency chat window (I'm not sure what it is called) flashes. The only way to stop the flashing is to click on the primary frequency, to display the window. In Other SET -> General Settings -> Page 2, 'Frequency message' is set to "Confirm Messages". Is this normal behavior? A. Karl Kornel - vZID C1, FE, and Mentor Smoke Bomb! Jonas Eberle Posted January 11, 2010 at 10:17 AM Posted January 11, 2010 at 10:17 AM I do not have this behaviour when I send a message. The "confirm" only happens when I receive messages. (The ES 3.0a behaviour can be recreated by selecting "Flash chat handler" or "Show unread chat handler" which I find more suitable as I let the frequency chat be displayed via Quick SET/Show text messages)
Gergely Csernak Posted January 12, 2010 at 09:45 PM Posted January 12, 2010 at 09:45 PM I can not reproduce it either. Just a question: Did you have the confirmation O in front of your outgoing message? Gergely. EuroScope developer
