Stephen Simpson Posted September 28, 2005 at 09:04 AM Posted September 28, 2005 at 09:04 AM Im having a few crashes with FS and was wondering if there was a utility out there that checks the installation of scenery and panels and planes to see if there is any which are causing problems with the system. Any help would be appreciated. Ta Steve Systems: XP-11 System: I7 8700K 4.8Ghz,32GB 3000 DDR4 RAM,1x1TB SSD,Geforce GTX1080TI 11GB,Windows 10 64bit. Norbert Pflug 899571 Posted September 29, 2005 at 07:33 AM Posted September 29, 2005 at 07:33 AM Hello, anyone of you installed by any change the EGPK scenery from "scot-flight" (<- might be incorrect spelling ) that was available on AVSIM.net a few days/weeks ago... I had the same trouble anytime I got near Prestwick or tried to start a fligth ex Prestwick it would "shut-down my FS2K4" and that was it... In the end I had to eventually un-installed the add-on scenery, and now it works very well. Just an idea, but maybe it helps. Cheers, Norbert >>>>>> http://www.fly737.com <<<<<<
RICHARD KEEN 937253 Posted October 3, 2005 at 10:14 AM Posted October 3, 2005 at 10:14 AM Hi I tryied a flight from EGLC to EGMH last night and each time the pc would reset its self , i tryied about 3 times but still no joy , i then started at EGMH just to try some circs with my mate doing TWR .. i managed to get in the air and just turned downwind then the dam thig reset again . I tryied the same flight off line and it went fine , i also did EBBR to EGLC off line with out any proplems so could it be SB that is causing the problems ? when controlling i have seen a few people dissapear off the scope . Another problem i have is that i have SQ set up to download the wx so i have real world wx when i fly , when the PC resets and i load up flight sim again i am unable to alter the custom wx as flight sim just CTDs or i get an MS error box appear , the way to get it back is to load up a flight on line and get sb to download the weather and the custom wx is selectable again .. strange . Thomas Street 880054 Posted October 11, 2005 at 08:32 PM Posted October 11, 2005 at 08:32 PM Have you tried flying the route with Collision Detection turned off? Seen quite a number of complaints about server outages, particularly USA1, perhaps it's spreading. Don't try to be a great man. Just be a man and let history make up its own mind.
