Michael Schaupp 1108950 Posted January 13, 2010 at 04:28 PM Posted January 13, 2010 at 04:28 PM Hi all! I've encountered these problems since I first started using ES 3.1.: In version 3.0 I saw the squawk in brackets, which the pilot put in, and if correct, the colour in the dep list changed from yellow to grey. In 3.1 I don't see that! Sq 1200 or 2200 (whatever the pilot's initial setting is) will show up in the tag until airborne! Also, if they have the correct squawk, the colour would not change until then. And there is no "bracket-squawk" in the flight strip. That's the most annoying thing - to ask pilots, if they squawk correctly. For your info: I use easy modes in both general and display setting. Also, I encountered the following: Before landing the altimeter in the tag shows 100 AGL and descending. That stays until the pilot is logging off. When the A/C has touched down, the altimeter in the flight strip jumps to A342 or whatever... And when arrived at the gate, the groundspeed in the flight strip jumps to a speed close to landing speed. Also, ES shows a hdg line when arrived at the gate. I made a screeny for you to take a look at. Any help is appreciated! Thanks a lot in advance! Mike
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted January 13, 2010 at 04:33 PM Posted January 13, 2010 at 04:33 PM The second is already a known bug and is been worked on. The first problem...I can't reproduce it... I still get the yellow SQ in the DEP and the two SQ (the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign and the set) in the flight strip. Sascha Fruehwirth 1051824 Posted January 13, 2010 at 05:30 PM Posted January 13, 2010 at 05:30 PM I can confirm both problems... I also have only the [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned squawk code in the flight strip and the color maintains yellow until the aircraft ist airborn... Notice: I had the same problem at the same airport (LOWW) Sascha Fruehwirth VACC-Austria
Gergely Csernak Posted January 13, 2010 at 07:11 PM Posted January 13, 2010 at 07:11 PM I found that if you have the "Simulate radar coverage and outage" enabled then even easy mode will not correlate the planes on the ground. What you are describing here is the normal operational mode when planes are not correlated. In the departure list you see only the flight plans. Surely there is no way to check what the pilot set before the transponder is operational and visible for the radar antennas. I suggest switching off the radar simulation for all easy mode users. That will help some (not all) of the problems described here. Gergely. EuroScope developer

Gergely Csernak Posted January 16, 2010 at 03:41 PM Posted January 16, 2010 at 03:41 PM I changed the code that using Easy VATSIM correlation mode the radar simulation is disabled automatically. It will be available in the patch. Gergely. EuroScope developer
