Patrik Yngver Posted February 14, 2010 at 09:26 AM Posted February 14, 2010 at 09:26 AM Generally notebooks are not good for any type of gaming, it's been discussed in many threads and the primary reasons are that a) it's designed to be compact, not very much airflow and 3D gfx put a good deal of load on the circuits and that generates heat, then b) most of those graphic solutions utilize shared memory with RAM, which isn't as quick as the RAM put on gfx-cards. Do a forum search for more on the topic of laptops and FS. Erhan Atesoglu 1050499 Posted February 15, 2010 at 11:33 AM Posted February 15, 2010 at 11:33 AM you can get pretty decent graphics out of a laptop these days, especially with FS9... however there is no way it'll run only with a Intel "media" Accellerater. Which isn't quite the same as 3D... Can you even get an external GPU? I know they have cards for presentations but that's about it. http://www.pond64.net
