Maciek Bruzdowicz 845677 Posted February 14, 2010 at 02:53 PM Posted February 14, 2010 at 02:53 PM For the past few days we've had this error in MKJK (Kingston, Jamaica) airspace. The above error is accompanied by a momentary display of the radar target for the above aircraft in the vincinity of Montego Bay, followed by the error. After a few errors, the VRF encouters a problem and shuts down. This affects all controllers working Kingston Centre and Sangster Approach, and they receive the erros simultenously. However controllers working Manley Approach are immunte to it. Can you please advise how to prevent it from recurring. Ross Carlson Posted February 14, 2010 at 04:59 PM Posted February 14, 2010 at 04:59 PM I have no idea what might be causing that. Is it only that one exact callsign? Sebastien Bartosz Posted February 19, 2010 at 04:52 PM Posted February 19, 2010 at 04:52 PM Sometimes this happens to me too, not when I have the aircraft in question etc. Just a random callsign. "No such callsign: blabla" Doesn't bother me, but its strange... New York ARTCC
