Luca Benelli Posted February 26, 2010 at 07:26 PM Posted February 26, 2010 at 07:26 PM Hi all, after seeing the EGCC_SMR sector here on the forum i felt the need to improve our own sector files... so i started working on regions and got quite some fine result. Large image so only link provided Now i need to rename the parking stands which are created using the high airways, are there any limitations on the names which can be given to airways in the sct? i need to have numerical only names and i can't get them to be seen on the screen in ES (they work in VRC). Thanks for any [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance Luca Luca Benelli - C3 - P2

Luca Benelli Posted February 26, 2010 at 09:54 PM Author Posted February 26, 2010 at 09:54 PM looks like ES doesn't like to activate ALL airways, so if you add some you need to reenable them, unlike geo or regions. So hopefully this one has been cleared Luca Benelli - C3 - P2
David Saunders 818672 Posted February 27, 2010 at 12:33 AM Posted February 27, 2010 at 12:33 AM why you using high airways, use freetext instead in the ese file. ie the format N051.28.26.350:W000.26.30.960:EGLL T2 Stands:249 non-discript self importance signature
Luca Benelli Posted February 27, 2010 at 08:12 AM Author Posted February 27, 2010 at 08:12 AM the problem is positioning regularly all the points. the airways place the text information automatically. Luca Benelli - C3 - P2

Luca Benelli Posted February 27, 2010 at 09:54 AM Author Posted February 27, 2010 at 09:54 AM having the text aligned with the line of the parking stand helps, but mainly i use the airways because the text is placed in a standard distance from the line, using labels i don't get them regular.. it makes everything messy..
