Airport Font/Symbol size

I have tried to modify the Airports symbol in the Symbology dialog.

I am able to change the line style and line weight, but no matter what font/symbol size I use the symbol remains the same size. Any suggestions?

what are you adjusting the symbol size or on the right the airport symbol, as that is what you need to adjust

out of curiosity, i dont suppose there is a graphic editor that will output the code for you?

 

I´m trying to modify the NDB and VOR symbols to something like this except its a hollow circle with a dot in it and one row of dots outside the circle for NDB, no dots for the VOR.

Your image doesn't seem to work Halldor.

 

The result of editing a symbol will be shown below in the same dialog (just under where the image is cut in David's post). Try it out and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it (I did!).
