Air Traffic Manager (ATM): VATCAR is hiring now for an ATM who will be in charge of the overall operations of the Havana FIR airspace. The optimal candidate will demonstrate the following characteristics: Background: • A clean VATSIM/VATCAR disciplinary record. Rating: • Controller 1 rating or higher is required Attributes: • Motivated and dedicated • Mature, responsible, conscientious, accountable, and organized • Willing to promote the positive image of Havana FIR on a daily basis • Willing to be a "go-to" staff member with constant controller interaction and the contribution of new ideas Job Description: Some of the routine duties can include, but are not limited to: • Roster management and website maintenance • [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist with planning events and activities in conjunction with the Events Department • [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist with Training Department development, oversight, and feedback • [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist with conflict resolution • Develop and maintain SOP, LOA, and policies for the Havana FIR • Any other duties set forth by VATCAR Division Director and/or his appontiee This position is open until 22 March 2010 or until filled.
