Christopher Mauro Posted March 11, 2010 at 10:02 PM Posted March 11, 2010 at 10:02 PM Anyway you can save Euroscope so when you start it up again, the last METAR's you worked with on your last shift would actually stay there? I always have to F2+EFHK every time I hop on to control.. Chris Mauro
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted March 12, 2010 at 06:53 AM Posted March 12, 2010 at 06:53 AM Just activate a Airport you want to have METAR, and it will be there. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Karl Kornel 964857 Posted March 16, 2010 at 07:47 AM Posted March 16, 2010 at 07:47 AM From what I've seen, here is exactly what it requires: The setting "Automatically display METAR of active airports" (found in Other SET -> General Settings -> Page 1 -> Misc. options -> left column) must be selected. You must set the airport as active (in Runway settings). One note: You must use the correct frequency & callsign for the sector you are controlling. If you are not using the correct callsign & frequency, or someone else comes online and EuroScope thinks they own your airspace, then EuroScope will deactivate all of your selected airports. That can be stopped by disabling the setting "Set active APT by owned sectors" (found in Other SET -> General Settings -> Page 1 -> Misc. options -> left column). You must select at least one runway as active (in Runway settings). If all of those conditions are met, then the METARs will automatically display! A. Karl Kornel 964857 Posted March 16, 2010 at 07:48 AM Posted March 16, 2010 at 07:48 AM I forgot to say, that could make an interesting feature: Instead of the setting... "Automatically display METAR of active airports" ... you have the setting ... "Automatically display METAR of APT with arriving or departing traffic" ! A.
