Keith Rocke 1085341 Posted March 18, 2010 at 09:35 AM Posted March 18, 2010 at 09:35 AM From my research Caribbean Airlines uses ABX Air (IATA: ABX, CALLSIGN: ABEX)... a US-based wet-lease provider to to haul their freight between the US/Canada and the Caribbean. ABX wet leases either B762 or a B763 freighter to handle this task. When they (ABX crew) fly the equipment, they use BWA flight numbers and callsigns. Would any one know of the (freighter) flight numbers? As Caribbean Airlines does NOT fly the B762/B763 for their regular service, I tried looking for BWA flights utilizing the B763's but came up short. Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted March 18, 2010 at 05:12 PM Posted March 18, 2010 at 05:12 PM ABX is theyre ICAO, not IATA, 2 different codes. the IATA is GB. they also fly under theyre ICAO, no point in having that if theyre going to fly under someone elses altho its possible they might use west indians for charter ops, altho doubtful, would be a bit confusing looking for a BWA plane painted in ABX's paint http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABX_Air http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/ABX
Marcel Ritzema Posted March 23, 2010 at 05:36 PM Posted March 23, 2010 at 05:36 PM Found one with the link above but replaced the operator by BWA (Caribbean Airlines): http://flightaware.com/live/fleet/BWA http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BWA790 Adding one number found the return flight http://flightaware.com/live/flight/BWA791 Logics suggest the aircraft does also a local flight from TBPB to TTPP
