If you want to get involved and help your fellow members, this may be for you. We're looking for mature, trustworthy individuals to work with the Membership Team. Membership Managers work in the background helping members with numerous issues. This is a perfect way to volunteer your time and give back to this great hobby. These are NOT supervisory positions, although Supervisors may apply. Successful applicants will go through a training process. Duties include: - Helping members with questions about VATSIM and its services through the email system. - Helping and providing a welcome to new members with account signup problems, account errors and pointing them in a proper direction to help get started. - Other general membership issues such as address changes lost IDs and p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]words etc. Qualifications: - Be willing to answer membership mail requests for help on a regular basis. - Must be trustworthy, and discrete. Membership accounts are never discussed in public, your friends, or with the general membership. VATSIM considers membership information sensitive and private. - Must be able to work well with people. P/R work, and related experience a plus (but not necessary) - Must be fluent in either Spanish or Portuguese. - Be a member of good standing, with a clean VATSIM record. - Have an understanding of the VATSIM Code of Conduct and the Rules and Regulations, being able to agree and work within those Rules.
