Keith Smith Posted April 21, 2010 at 12:43 AM Posted April 21, 2010 at 12:43 AM The ZLA Pilot Cert system is currently inaccessible. I am out of town until tomorrow and won't have access to the machine until then. My apologies. I will post a note here when it is back up.

Keith Smith Posted May 1, 2010 at 01:06 PM Author Posted May 1, 2010 at 01:06 PM It's been up and down quite a bit. It looks like the IDE controller (or one of the drives) is starting to go. I'll migrate it to another machine as soon as I can. I should be able to get it rebooted again this afternoon, but I'm not sure how long it will stay up. Expect some downtime between now and the migration.

Keith Smith Posted May 3, 2010 at 04:49 AM Author Posted May 3, 2010 at 04:49 AM Thanks for your patience, Paul, I appreciate it. It's a fairly sickening feeling, seeing the site down for hours at a time, days on end. The good news is, the server migration should be complete by tomorrow, and all of these problems will go away. The software which drives the site is pretty solid...the issue is simply that of failing hardware.

I p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] the I-11, and the website conveniently goes down on the same day? I smell a cover-up . Keith Smith Posted May 3, 2010 at 08:52 PM Author Posted May 3, 2010 at 08:52 PM Haha...I just processed your result now, in fact The site is now running on new hardware and should be stable. Congrats on the I-11! When I have time, I will post the I-11 results on the home page for the year. Unfortunately, there isn't any material that springs to mind for the graduation notices, so they'll be a little dry, I'm afraid! Still, I suspect that ppl still do like to see their name up in lights, though.
Dhruv Kalra Posted May 3, 2010 at 08:54 PM Posted May 3, 2010 at 08:54 PM Good to hear. Yeah not much to write about. My name doesn't lend itself to unorthodox Scrabble tiles too well, after all .
