unwanted Airplane Tags

When flying online other airborne traffic is always identified by red tags showing a variety of information. Ever since I installed squawkbox 3 my tags are always all preceded by the word "unspecified". example:

Unspecified

VIP DC9xx

NWxxx

xxxxft

x.x nm

I cannot recall having seen that word "unspecified" last year. Since it does not serve any purpose is it possible to get rid of it? If yes, how? It is sort of annoying seeing the same word multiple times on the screen.

Thanks in advance

Yes, there is an option in FS to remove such tags. I'm at work and don't quite recall, but believe it is under Options...that's as far as my memory works!

Under options->Traffic, un-check the box next to "manufacturer". If you don't want the VIP/SB/etc. tags, uncheck the "Model" box.

Ctrl Shift L <-- Toggles tags.

Once you have them turned off you can save the situation / flight, setting it as default. (oh, set com1 = 122.80 while you are there)

Now when you start FS and have a flight based off of that new default you will no longer have red tags and if you did com1 you will also no longer have to tune from 122.95.
