James Greever 973303 Posted May 11, 2010 at 01:38 AM Posted May 11, 2010 at 01:38 AM I recently got a new computer installed with Windows. After starting VRC, I get the message "error loading alias file" the same for "pof" file. Everything else seems to work fine. And yes, Im running VRC in admin mode. Ross Carlson Posted May 11, 2010 at 01:40 AM Posted May 11, 2010 at 01:40 AM That usually means the path to the alias and pof files specified in your VRC.ini file are incorrect. A common reason is when you move from a 32 bit operating system to a 64 bit operating system, the program files folder changes. Happened to me too, I just did a search and replace in VRC.ini with the "Program Files (x86)" for 32-bit programs and off I went.
