VFRiday® is our weekly informal event where every Friday at 21h00edt (01h00z), we fly to a different location rotating between North America one month and elsewhere in the world another.

Canadian Xpress® would like to invite all pilots, virtual airlines & controlers to join us where during the month of June & July, we follow one of Canada's busiest highways; Highway 401.

Part I - June 11, 2010: 21h00edt (01h00z)

Departing from Valleyfield (CSD3), we head west to intercept the highway 401 and follow it for about 120nm until we reach Kingston (CYGK). After unloading and loading p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]engers, We then continue our journey along the 401 for another 40 nm until we reach Trenton (CYTR).

Part II - June 25, 2010: 21h00edt (01h00z)

Departing from Trenton (CYTR), we follow the 401 west into busy Toronto air space to Buttonville (CYKZ). After a quick refueling, we leave Toronto behind and continue west to Kitchener Waterloo (CYKF).

Part III - July 9, 2010: 21h00edt (01h00z)

Departing from Kitchener Waterloo (CYKF), we head west along highway 401 for a quick stop in London (CYXU) before continuing on to Windsor (CYQG).

Whether you fly Direct, VOR to VOR or with your GPS, you will discover that flying VFR is a lot of fun and the scenery is spectacular. So choose your favorite prop aircraft or helicopter and join us for a lot of fun.

Uh isn't that what is stated in the event?

The airports are simply spots we are going to stop off at on the way. Not sure how this would apply to IFR.

I never learn. I've attempted many times to inject humour into posts, but usually it starts a flame war. Glad the fires were extinguished in this case.

No no, not your fault. Normally I would have gotten the joke on the first read. Just been really tired the last two days.

Good thing the event isn't today or I would be flying into the roads instead of over them.
