Evening all,

We are in the process of moving the VATUSA website and forum to a new hosting location. Both the website and forum may be unavailable for a few days. All efforts are being made to keep this disruption as short as possible.

Thanks in advance for your patience...if anyone has questions regarding this, please create a new forum topic here or send to my email vatusa1vatusa.net.

Anyone remember where FNO is tonight? I am lost without the VATUSA calendar.

IIRC it's the shared one between KZAB, KZDV, and KSLC. Can't remember the official airports though.

I apologize to all for the disruption...we're almost there...a few tweaks and twists of the fine tuning knobs and the site will be online again...

By the way, the URL is the same www.vatusa.net

Forum is up

ZDV, ZLC, and ZAB host FNO as they light up the four corners of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico!

KSLC, KGJT, KASE, KPHX, and KABQ will be featured.

Cool!

Great work, Gary. We know you're working it hard, and thank you!

Hi again all,

The website move is about 95% completed...just running some database checks to make sure all is connected and the VATSIM update connections work as they should.

PLEASE NOTE: Though you can see (and post) in the forum via http://www.forum.vatusa.us, THAT IS THE FORUM RUNNING ON THE OLD WEB HOST SYSTEM.

Due to database timing, any posts made since Thursday evening will be lost! You're welcome to use it for reading or reference.

I'll post here when all seems to be running as it was before the move...we're almost there guys, so hang in there...and thanks for your patience and understanding!

Hi all,

I've posted repeatedly that the VATUSA website IS NOT OPERATIONAL AT THIS TIME. Back-dooring into the site will not result in any success.

DO NOT submit any test results nor promotions and such as they will not process just yet.

The VATUSA Forum does appear to fully operational: www.forum.vatusa.net

I know you're anxious to move along with taking exams and whatever (as much as I'm anxious to get this move completed) but there is something on the order of 100,000+ plus files and alot of code needs to be updated to reflect the new site hosting environment.

With all that, we're about 98% there and should have the site fully operational in another day or so...

Take you time with it..

I am not in a hurry what so ever, but it was the fact that I was able to get [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned the test, therefore thinking that it was working.

Regards,

Chris Mauro

Good morning all,

The VATUSA Website is now officially open and available at:

www.vatusa.net

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR URL ADDRESS IS POINTING TO VATUSA.NET!

The major mechanical functions of the website appear to be in good order. Anyone noticing any errors or problems please post them here or submit a help ticket through http://support.vatusa.net/

Do NOT report the scrolling image problem on the home page - we are aware of and working on it.

Those who might have missed exams or had other issues with the examination center, please send all of the particulars to vatusa1 vatusa.net. BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, CID, DATE OF THE ERROR AND ANY INFORMATION IN THAT REGARD.

Thanks again for everyone's patience...

Cheers!

Hehehe..."I love it when a plan comes together!"

The promotions problem (or lack thereof) has now been fixed and you gents have all those little promotion stars to get to clicking...PLEASE REMEMBER, the databases synch once every 24 hours so the member may not be able to use their new rating until tomorrow...
