Nathan Rhodes 1089772 Posted June 22, 2010 at 03:11 AM Posted June 22, 2010 at 03:11 AM I've been flying the ol' fixed wings for quite a while now, and its wierd to say, but taking the 747 up for a long haul has gotten a little boring. So looking for a challenge, I thought I would give the Rotors a shot. I've got the basics down, but I would like to work more on my landings. I mostly fly the default EH101, and I like it. I typically fly out of KMRT but I am willing to fly anywhere, I'll just throw the bird in my 747 and take it to you, lol. Let me know if you would like to meet up and then we can work out specifics. Thanks! Nate
Dwayne Gable 1154431 Posted June 27, 2010 at 03:40 PM Posted June 27, 2010 at 03:40 PM I'm probably not up for the job, but I can try and help. I recently got a new joystick. It has a twist axis, and now I am suddenly flying almost like a pro, instead of looking like a noob. If you tell me what skills you need work on, I may be able to help you out. My only weakness in helis is precision landings. I can do some aerobatics like hammerhead, cyclic rolls,... that's actually it for my heli aerobatics skills. I have figured out autorotation landings as well, but again, still working on sticking it where I want it. I'm normally available 1500-2000Z and 2200-0200Z, but I can work something out to be available at other times of the day if need be.
