A nor'easter is a type of macro-scale event along the East Coast of the United States, so named because air traffic surrounds the northeast, especially around the airports of JFK, LGA, EWR, and PHL.

 

After a one year hiatus, the legendary Nor'Easter returns to New York ARTCC on Sunday, August 8th, 2010.

 

It's coming, will you be ready?

I thought Nor'Easters were cold season storms? But here it is in August. Hmm. Guess that's why they changed the term from global warming to climate change.
