Charan Kumar Posted August 10, 2010 at 03:51 AM Posted August 10, 2010 at 03:51 AM Nope, your headset, which seems like it is USB based, should do the trick. What Pilot client are you using? That will help provide a specific answer. When is your next Flight||VATSIM HitSquad Member, ZOA/ZAK/GANDER/P1

Thank's FSX has an option under sound to specify the sound device. Your pilot client also has an option to specify the sound device. Go into the options of each and specify a different sound device. For FSX specify the sound device for your computer or sound card. For your pilot client specify the sound device for your usb headset. By the way, your usb headset will have to be plugged in for that device to be available for specifying where to use it. -- L. James -- L. D. Larry James 901346 Posted August 10, 2010 at 12:55 PM Posted August 10, 2010 at 12:55 PM Headset is not USB and my client is FSinn If you're plugging the headset into the sound card for alternate (speaker) output, then it's unlikely that you have an actual separate device specification for this component. If this is the case, you may have to opt for a new physical sound device/card. If you have a sound card on your computer and a separate sound device built into your motherboard, then you can specify those as unique for ATC and FSX sounds. The criterion is having more than one actual sound device for specificity. -- L. James -- L. D.
