How to add a transponder gauge in Just Flight Constellation

I fly with much pleasure Just Flights Constellation Professional. The aircraft has no transponder. Flying on line with ATC requires a transponder. I like to add a transponder gauge in the Constellations panel. I have the Friendly Panels Guage Pack One v2.0. In the fp_gauges.gau file is a file called fp_gaugs!XPKT70, which is a bendix KT70 transponder. How can I add the transponder in the panel of the Connie? Or is there a easier solution?

Do you need to have a xpdr in your acft to set sqk code on VATSIM? Don't the clients' (both FSInn and SqkBox) dot command (I believe .xpdr) work even without that. Of course if you want it for realism purposes, by all means. Tutorials also on avsim!!

Thanks for your answer. No, I haven't ever edited a panel before and will look at avsim and simviation. Any help is appreciated.
