Ric Peregrino 880709 Posted December 10, 2004 at 04:23 AM Posted December 10, 2004 at 04:23 AM Hello, I can connect to VATSIM but, 1 Eventually the other players don't work and their aircraft end up coasting. I can disconnect and reconnect to fix this some times. 2 I can't quit FS9 multiplayer. I end up having to end-task FS9. It hangs on 'closing multiplayer session please wait'. I'm using a Linksys NAT router, so I my try also direct connect, but would like this to work w/ the router. Any help/info appreciated. Regards, Ric
Dave Weese 817228 Posted December 10, 2004 at 04:36 AM Posted December 10, 2004 at 04:36 AM This is from the Avsim forum, I'm working on an update for the PRC and was going to add this, I'm not sure if it will help you but its a start. I don't have a router as of yet. Firstly, you need to know your ip adress that your router is providing, by (if using win xP) click on start -> run -> type cmd(if using win98/me/2000) type winip Then a command prompt box will open, in there type ipconfig and it should give you Connection-Speficic DNS Suffix IP Address.... Subnet Mask... Default Gateway... What you are interested in is the IP Adress..., find out the number on the other sides of the dots and type it onto your URL in my case it would be 192.162.1.1 then you need to log into your router... you probably set your log in account before when setting up the router. Anyhow, go into your port forwarding section and open the following ports 47624 - 47624\TCP\finish the last number after the dot\enable 2300 - 2400\UDP\finish the last number after the dot\enable 6073 - 6073\UDP\finish the last number after the dot\enable 3290 - 3782\UDP\finish the last number after the dot\enable This will open your router ports for AVC and SB. Then save the config and start your msfs 2004. Click on multiplayer, then click on settings,,, and set the ports for the both on 23458. And then follow these settings start sb relay 1.2 start msfs 2004 start m/p session start a flight start HOSTSB.dll by going to modules drop down list when clicking ALT Start HOSTSB by clicking on run Start Squawkbox From Windows And You Should be set [/qoute]Firstly, you need to know your ip adress that your router is providing, by (if using win xP) click on start -> run -> type cmd (if using win98/me/2000) type winip Dave Weese (CXA007) Fleet Manager Canadian Xpress Virtual Airline® http://www.CanadianXpress.ca
