How do I get my voice ATIS channel recognized? I keep getting "ATIS voice channel must match ATIS callsign." I am connected to VATSIM as CYWG_TWR I have my primary frequency setup and functioning ... CYWG_TWR My connection settings for my ATIS are ... Winnipeg ATIS 120.200 rw.server.ca CYWG_ATIS I trust someone is able to provide some help. Luke Cunningham Posted August 15, 2010 at 06:13 PM Posted August 15, 2010 at 06:13 PM The channel name needs to be CYWG_ATIS not Winnipeg ATIS. Hope this helps. Luke Cunningham Senior Controller VATSIM United Kingdom
Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted August 15, 2010 at 06:16 PM Posted August 15, 2010 at 06:16 PM As Luke, pointed out, your ATIS name must be the same as the voice channel you have set for it. J Jason Vodnansky 810003 Posted August 16, 2010 at 12:16 AM Posted August 16, 2010 at 12:16 AM I've had this issue in the past as well, but cannot recall exactly how I fixed it... option 1: Delete the information, shut down ES, restart ES, add the info back in. Option 2: All of option 1, except input all information using all CAPS Like I said, I can't recall exactly how I fixed mine, but I did fix it. Good luck! Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted August 16, 2010 at 07:23 AM Posted August 16, 2010 at 07:23 AM Well I have to ask, when you selected the Atis check box, you have already connected the Atis to VATSIM, via the Atis dialog box, right? Because if you haven't you will get that message. The sequence of turning the ATIS is this: 1. Connect to Vatsim at ATC position 2. Connect the ATIS to VATSIM via the dialog box 3. Select the Freq from the Voice Settup Dialog box EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers

I won't know until I return home to try it out. To clarify, step 2 ... 2. Connect the ATIS to VATSIM via the dialog box Which dialogue box are you referring ... in the ATIS setup box? Marvin Palmer Posted August 25, 2010 at 08:36 PM Posted August 25, 2010 at 08:36 PM Rob, just to caveat on this, once you have the data for your atis (name, frequency, server) in your Voice Communication Setup, don't do anything else here....go to "Voice ATIS setup" plug the Airport ICAO and click on connect....that should do it... Dan Arsenault 949706 Posted August 26, 2010 at 04:11 PM Posted August 26, 2010 at 04:11 PM I think I had that problem until the information was added to the ESE file but I could be mistaken. If you still have the problem let me know as I have the sector and ESE files and I can try it.
