I'm sorry but no, you cant. It will take alot more than that to run FSX maxed out. I would suggest a new computer. The best you will get with these specs is everything on low and you might still get low FPS. FSX is very CPU dependent and you would also need a good video card. Nothing under 1Ghz if you want to run everything maxed out and for your CPU, nothing under an i5 (i7 is even better). I would also suggest a X58 MB and at least 6 gigz of RAM. For that I would suggest Mushkin Enhaced Redline (3 X 2ghz) DDR3 1600 but there are other brands you could use. I run everything maxed out on my rig. See the specs in my signature. Hope I could help a bit. You must be joking Is Verner's post just a joke or did I miss something? Whitford's sig indicates something else

John Davey 1175463 Posted November 26, 2010 at 06:51 PM Posted November 26, 2010 at 06:51 PM I am a newbie to VATSIM so please bear with me on my first post. I use http://www.belarc.com to analyse my system. It's free! I hope you don't mind my weighing in on this thread. I bought this from DELL for under 1500CAD: W7 Home premium - love the stability! 2.67 Intel i7 920 4 multicore 8 hyperthreaded 12 gig of ram ATI Radeon HD 5700 - w 1mg 1 Terabyte HD No monitors included as I used the 2 flat panels I had from prior purchases - ditto for the speakers I am using FSX with Acceler with all features maxed out except for FPS which is at 25. On the 2nd monitor I use Plan-G as the map etc. No hangups at all. I look forward to becoming a part of the VATSIM community. Thank you

I get a little over 100FPS on my system with all the sliders maxed to the right. My system's specs are lower performance than yours. What is your specific question? -- L. James -- L. D.
