Joaquin Blanco Posted September 11, 2010 at 02:01 AM Posted September 11, 2010 at 02:01 AM Have a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke which I have been using on Fs9 & FSX running on default settings. Earlier this week I was reading about configuring the axes & buttons using FSUIPC, and decided to give it a got started with Fs9 by disabling the Yoke within FS and calibrating the Axes following the instructions on the FSUIPC manual. The result was a disaster. Ailerons only turning in one direction, etc. - Tried same thing on FSX with same results. Seeing that it was my first attempt at programming the Yoke in this way, it's almost certain that I made a mistake somewhere along the line. Went back an enabled the Yoke in FS9 and checked that all the settings and axes were OK, after having first set all FSUIPC versions to default. But now it's almost impossible to maintain a level flight with all aircraft suffering a constant pitch movement right to left or left to right that makes level flight and control of the aircraft almost impossible. The Yoke is over sensitive. Also tried deleting fs9 & fsx config and let the sims regenerate them. Likewise with the .ini files for the two versions of FSUIPC. Removed all the FSUIPC files from the modules directories and then reinstalled them again after rebooting. So now I've got 2 sims which I cannot use. Any feedback, solution, or suggestion would be most appreciated. Best regards Joaquin Blanco
Joaquin Blanco Posted September 11, 2010 at 01:46 PM Author Posted September 11, 2010 at 01:46 PM Finally found the solution to this problem in a post in the Saitek Forums. Apparently their Yoke can on oc[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ions go haywire and the only solution is to unplug the yoke, remove some registry entries, plug it pack on and all sorted.
