NEW IN VATSIM HEEELP!!

Hello everyone, Im not very sure about how this works, but here we go, Im new in Vatsim, and i really want to be a controller here, i used to control in IVAO, but now I want to do it in vatsim, I downloaded the VCR program and the ZFW sector, everything is Ok. I was told that i have to do a test before starting here, so i can get my rating, Im a pilot in real life and somebody told me that this could help to get my rating faster, my question is, where can i schedule that examn or who do I have to talk to in order to start controlling, Im having a hard time downloading everything and I dont know exactly what the steps are to start using Vatsim.

Sorry if I put this in the wrong place, the only way I can learn is if someone tells me what I do wrong and how thing should be done.

follow what it tells ya, itll get you going. after the basic test, if you p[Mod - Happy Thoughts] it, the ARTCC you want to join will be in contact with you, but dont hesitate either to go over to theyre forum either theyll get you going.

 

do keep in mind theres more testing down the line for your ratings. some new controllers dont realize theres lots of training involved in all this until they get their feet wet. its important to know that as your instructors and mentors will be investing a lot of time doing that
