Martin Stauder 1076761 Posted September 21, 2010 at 04:23 PM Posted September 21, 2010 at 04:23 PM First post on the forums, hopefully in the right section. I'm about ready to make my first flights on VATSIM (Having registered some time ago, I waited to get some real life flying experience before joining here), however I'm unsure what software to use. Which is better for a newcomer to use for FSX? FSInn or SquawkBox? After sorting that out, any tips as to a good aerodrome for a rookie to start flying at? Something with ATC, but not too much traffic. Thanks in advance.
Richard Gerrish Posted September 21, 2010 at 06:48 PM Posted September 21, 2010 at 06:48 PM Welcome to vatsim. I would recommend you download and install both clients and try them out to see which one fits you the best. for FSInn be sure to follow the directions to a T Installation Sticky and you'll be fine Also check out the ZLA Pilots certs offers they are an excelent way to see socal and get used to working with ATC. I'll also take a look at ZLA, after snooping around some more. Cheers, Martin
