Hello all! I can [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ure you that you've answer this type of questions billions of time ... Though I couldn't find it so I'd thought I'd give it a shot to ask. I'm running my FSX here on DeLL XPS1600 not sure what the exact spec is but rules of thumb is that I can run FSX on "High" it's pretty good graphics with settings on "High" though I've notice on YouTube videos they're graphics are just unbelieveable, with scenery on so on, is there a way where you can tell me what computer to get (spec wise) and as well as scenery add-ons tell the full detail!!

I used to use REX but never got the damn thing to work so that was a waste. Please let me know the full detail.

Budget: $2,000-$3,500 ( for the computer as well as the scenery add-ons; PMDG's, and many more ... )

Hi Vinhs:

If you saw jaw dropping scenery it's probably from one of the following:

http://www.ftxnow.com (ORBX)

http://www.fsdreamteam.com

http://www.flytampa.org

http://www.aerosoft.com (specifically Sim-Wings products)

As far as the PC.. if you can hold out until February you can get yourself one of the new Sandy Bridge CPUs as opposed to the i7 which is almost 2 years old at this point. So roughly 25% additional performance is what I estimate over the current gen i7.

My immediate budget is substantially lower than yours and I'm able to max out all sliders. It was done for about a third of your budget.
