Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted October 21, 2010 at 12:10 AM Posted October 21, 2010 at 12:10 AM finally ive managed get my OOM issues with the coolsky super 80 and imaginesim EWR scenery put to rest. i originally tried the 3gb switch. all that did was give me more time before it would eventually come back to bite me. the fix was making FS9 large address aware. ive been testing the last few days since adding this, same scenarios that the OOM's would always show themselves everytime. now, i get no more OOM's! im using Win XP 32bit. also a note, you do need atleast 3gb of ram installed on your PC to use this. also for those using AES, older versions of AES are not compatible with the large address aware youll run into g3d.dll problems when flying into AES enabled airports. the new version of AES is supposed to fix that. i havent tried it yet, but hopefully they have squashed that one. you can find more info here http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=112556 thanks to Jim Harnes at AvA for recommending this! i can finally enjoy these two addons without worries. here's to you enjoying FS!
