Is anyone using xsb on x-plane for linux with success?

I have tried on debian, ubuntu and fedora for months to get xsb & x-plane working. I am always able to get x-plane audio or xsquawkbox audio but not both. So, I am wondering if anyone is using it on linux with success, ie x-plane and xsb audio both working. If so could you please advise as to the distro being used and was audio system/daemon?
