Alan Perlman 924676 Posted November 26, 2010 at 02:48 AM Posted November 26, 2010 at 02:48 AM I have installed FS9 in my new system. I have the anti-aliasing set and set also. I still get the choppy scenery and the aircraft wings are jagged. My thinking is FS9 and Direct X10 are not compatible. I am using Win 7. I created a new hard drive with XP. The problem still persists. I use the same setting that I have on my laptop (My laptop verson looks great) My laptop is XP. Any suggestions? My thinking is FS9 and Direct X10 are not compatible. They work just fine - once you get the initial tweaking out of the way. Cheers! Luke ... I spawn hundreds of children a day. Luke Kolin Posted November 26, 2010 at 03:12 AM Posted November 26, 2010 at 03:12 AM I have XFX (Nvidea 9800 gt with the newest drivers. Drivers from Oct 10 I've found that any nVidia drivers that are less than 12 months old won't do AA properly in FS9 without nHancer or a similar tweaking tool. nHancer unfortunately will not work with anything newer than the 197.x series drivers. I'm obviously missing something, but I don't see anywhere in the program that lets me change AA modes per application. Just seems to show diagnostic data about the card. Cheers! Luke ... I discovered that, but only after upgrading my drivers. If you have a 19x series driver, the button is greyed out. Thanks! Luke ... I spawn hundreds of children a day.
