Riccardo Fasolato 868873 Posted April 19, 2011 at 06:23 PM Posted April 19, 2011 at 06:23 PM When 2 UIR’s have the same data only the first one listed will show correctly. This is a limitation of the software. Does it mean that if a sector which covers two areas is online cannot be splitted if the second one come up?? In Italy if LIMM_N_CTR is online it covers all North Italy but, if LIPP_N_CTR logs in, the LIMM_N_CTR sector covers only the West area whereas LIPP covers the East area. Hope that you've understand what I meant? Regards Riccardo
Stephen Cotterill 1016107 Posted April 20, 2011 at 08:44 AM Posted April 20, 2011 at 08:44 AM Riccardo The system looks at the Area Code [LIPP , LIMM etc] to light up a predefined area. If the area changes for one controller when another controller logs on to a different position then the only way SI could display this is if there are separate 'Codes' for each area to start with and the original controller logs off and then logs on to the new area. AFAIK SI does not have an Algorithm code to distinguish ( If then else ) type statements for positions. It uses fixed data. Hope that helps Steve

Christopher Barbas Posted November 6, 2011 at 09:43 AM Posted November 6, 2011 at 09:43 AM Good day I have a question, I couldn't find a solution about it maybe there isn't! Is it possible the control name of stations to be changed at Servinfo or this is a VATSIM data retrieved at Servinfo from somewhere at VATSIM? For example, can this LGRP_TWR Rodos Tower to be changed to this LGRP_TWR Diagoras Tower. I am answering because at Servinfo data file there is nothing to be changed! I mean in my example I have used the TWR but the APP and GND will also be changed, correct? If that's correct, can I do something else to have the APP station name as something else? Miguel Frias Posted November 19, 2011 at 01:02 PM Posted November 19, 2011 at 01:02 PM I would like to point out that the latest release has GOOO (Dakar Oceanic) switched with GOOC (Dakar Terrestrial). All users can have this switched by editing "fir.dat" and "servinfo.dat" files with notepad and changing all references from GOOO to GOOC and viceversa. Stephen Cotterill 1016107 Posted November 21, 2011 at 09:21 AM Posted November 21, 2011 at 09:21 AM Miguel Just so I have this correct you are saying that the FIR (GOOO) is the Oceanic FIR and (GOOC) should be the standard FIR? If this is correct then the airports below will require re[Mod - Happy Thoughts]igning from GOOO to GOOC as well. Miguel Frias Posted November 21, 2011 at 09:24 AM Posted November 21, 2011 at 09:24 AM Correct, I forgot the airports. GOOO since it's oceanic doesn't even have an airport. It's all water. Mathias Johnsen 839996 Posted November 25, 2014 at 01:04 PM Posted November 25, 2014 at 01:04 PM (edited) Possible to add an update to this? We are now updating the Norwegian airspace alot. New callsigns and new borders. Take a look at the sectorisation map i've made. http://www.mej.no/u/uploads/north-norway.jpg http://www.mej.no/u/uploads/south-norway.jpg The new sectors will be: NOR_N_CTR (126.450) NOR_C_CTR (125.700) NOR_E_CTR (118.820) NOR_W_CTR (120.650) NOR_CTR (125.500) will cover all 4 sectors. NOR_N_CTR (126.450) will cover North and Central. NOR_S_CTR (121.550) will cover C,E and W. NOR_1_CTR (118.820) and NOR_3_CTR (125.050) will cover the East sector if we have a split. NOR_9_CTR (120.650) and NOR_14_CTR (124.570) will cover the West sector if we have a split. NOR_18_CTR (125.700) and NOR_19_CTR (131.100) will cover the Central sector if we have a split. NOR_N1_CTR (118.550), NOR_N2_CTR (126.450) and NOR_N3_CTR (126.700) will cover the North sector if we have a split. Is this possible to get this out as an update, anyone who can add it? Paul Kennedy 900557 Posted January 6, 2017 at 05:19 PM Posted January 6, 2017 at 05:19 PM Hi all, I'll begin by saying I am not very technically minded. I had Servinfo working perfectly on an older lap-top but when I bought a new lap-top in the sales I decided to download Servinfo directly from the AVSIM site rather than transfer files between the computers. All seemed fine until I went to download data, to find that I had no network servers. What did I do wrong and how do I import the servers. I am in the Shannon FIR (EISN).
