I too would appreciate clarification on this. Is Servinfo still a working program or is it defunct please?

Well.... It generally still works. Realize that developer support ceased in 2005; 12 years ago. There have been many members of the community that have made updates since, but I imagine most folks in the community moved on to VATSpy, which is community and developer-supported, and data files are regularly updated by and distributed to the community, or similar tools (e.g. vattastic.com, vRoute, dolomynum, etc.).

All seemed fine until I went to download data, to find that I had no network servers. What did I do wrong and how do I import the servers.

Paul, go into your servinfo.ini file and under [ConnectionParameters] make sure the VATSIM Servers Locator Url line looks like:

The FIR data is in a very similar format and it could be updated so as the airports. Not sure about the rest.

Hi Miguel,

yes, I even thought about converting VatSpy-data into the format of ServInfo and then use the converter tool to get it sectorized for use in Qutescoop. This is my main intention, update all data of Qutescoop. I have just semi-automatically corrected the data for Australia, because the latest file for ServInfo (AIRAC 1911) contains these sectors, but the rest of the world does not look really up to date in some areas. Qutescoop even comes with a converter tool to read SCT-files and create airspace-data, but many sector-files have sector data criss-crossing the airspace = unusable.
