On a somewhat nostalgic tone, ROvACC and vACC Hungary is celebrating the third event of its kind: CityHopping Bucharest Budapest. Called CHBB over the years, many anecdotes are related to it. ROvACC was launched with this event four years ago. We here were brand new controllers and the traffic was too much for one poor Ground controller who quit soon after the event. Yearly we have to pay his therapy bill. The next event was much better prepared. This time under the guillotine was a soon-to-be C1 controller doing his CPT at Bucharest Radar. Even today at night he shudders uncontrollably remembering that evening. The Budapest-Bucharest city hopping was the second hopping event in the life of VACC Hungary, and it takes a special place in our heart. We have had record traffic amount in these hopping event, and looking forward to improve the statistics. This year all of us will be victims, because the "Third Time's the Charm". On 5th December 2010 between 1800z and 2200z Bucharest (LROP) and Budapest (LHBP) is CityHopping for the 3rd time.
