Romano Lara Posted December 22, 2010 at 11:29 AM Posted December 22, 2010 at 11:29 AM I've been using C-mode correlation for a while now, needless to say I'm enjoying it. But is there a way to show ground targets? I checked "Show AC on STBY" from the display options, but no avail. I still can't see them... a secondary window is not an option since I'm using an HP Mini for my controlling.. Thanks! Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 22, 2010 at 03:13 PM Posted December 22, 2010 at 03:13 PM Use one of the ground modes from the Display Setting dialog, for the ASR you are using for ground operation. Probly I'm a basic ES user, I dont really know much about this ASR settings etc I believe he is saying, open a different ASR for ground movements, and set that ASR's simulation mode (in the display settings dialogue) as one of the ground options. This doesn't require a new window, and you can switch between the 2 ASRs easily by using F7. Neil Farrington VATSIM UK

Yep, exactly => # Simulation mode - Here you can specify the used radar mode for the current ASR. * Easy EuroScope mode - The standard radar mode known from earlier versions. * Professional Radar mode - For details on Professional mode, refer to the Professional Radar Simulation page. It can not be used if the correlation mode in the General Settings dialog is set to Easy EuroScope mode. * Professional ground with S-mode radar - Ground mode with S-mode surface radar coverage. * Professional ground without radar - Ground mode without radar identification of the aircraft. Romano Lara Posted December 23, 2010 at 04:33 AM Author Posted December 23, 2010 at 04:33 AM I'm sorry, but I still don't get it.... We're using HCF01.asr - and it automatically loads itself everytime I load the profile. So how exactly do I "open a new ASR" and toggle between the 2? I'd appreciate a step by step guide... [Mod - Happy Thoughts]uming we're already looking at the screen with the current ASR that I'm using for CTR Romano Romano LaravACC Philippines, Manager - Training & Standards
Romano Lara Posted December 23, 2010 at 10:43 AM Author Posted December 23, 2010 at 10:43 AM Disregard, I figured it out. If only there's a way to save both ASR without having to setup my the 2nd ASR for my 2 ground everytime I start ES. Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted December 23, 2010 at 10:58 AM Posted December 23, 2010 at 10:58 AM Of course you can save your ASR, just hit "Save/Save As" in the Open SCT menu. You can also fast load your last 8 used ASR from that menu also. EuroScope BETA Tester/Board of Designers
Johan Grauers Posted December 23, 2010 at 11:08 AM Posted December 23, 2010 at 11:08 AM Welcome to a new world of ES I myself have 9 asrs hotkeyed and switch between them constantly. So when I control sweden I can with the click of a button jump between looking at all of sweden, to a TMA view, to ground, back to all of sweden again. Really nice and quite efficent on my laptop aswell Johan Grauers Event Coordinator - vACC Scandinavia

So in case someone calls again from one of those airfields, I will not have to ask again.. "What taxiway are you coming out from?"
