Aaron Crawley 935316 Posted November 11, 2005 at 10:39 PM Posted November 11, 2005 at 10:39 PM Good evening guys, Great job at controlling as usual, but I have one question. When trying to locate the appropriate departure and approach procedures for any particular airport in the UK, your website seems to be a bit hard to navigate. I was flying yesterday from the states to the UK and from the UK back across and couldn't find any exit or enterence procedures unless you were flying to / or from the UK to europe. Where could I find these procedures at without having to login? Best Regards Aaron
Alan Sutherland Posted November 11, 2005 at 11:12 PM Posted November 11, 2005 at 11:12 PM Hi Aaron, You can find all the SID's and STAR's for UK airports at www.ais.org.uk but you do require a login. Without logining in you can find Arrival and Departure information for each airport in the relevant airport section. For example the Heathrow SIDs can be found by visiting www.vatsim-uk.org clicking on LONDON ACC in the bottom left then HEATHROW followed by DEPARTURES. This is the standard for the airports listed on the website. For Standard routings between UK airports and between intersections and airports into or out of the UK have a look at http://www.vatsim-uk.org/airac-routing/body.asp If you select the correct points you will get the standard routing to the airport. If I have got the wrong end of the stick let me know, Alan Alan Sutherland ROvACC Training Director VATEUD TD vACC Support Manager [email protected]
