Lukas Kulik 917478 Posted December 11, 2004 at 12:53 PM Posted December 11, 2004 at 12:53 PM hi, well,i've got some problems with the connection. Everything is (i hope) installed right. So i start SbRelay, then Fs9,then multiplayer session, create a flight, HostSB and then want to connect to the server via Squawkbox,...and then FS9 hangs up well and i think it only hangs up, when other multiplayer airplanes are at this particular airport which i'm starting off but I'm not quite sure. yesterday i got a connection, but there was only a controller in this area,no planes and hopefully i could talk to him. After that i tried another connection to an area were also pilots are and then i got luck and could get after connection to the server back to FS9,but i got some error messages of FS9 saying that some planes are not compatible, not running right with that FS version . well i don't know exactly what the problem is i can talk to the controllers and they can talk to me.but well (i think) everytime another pilot is in this area or airport,FS9 hangs up (and i can't go back to it only "task ending" ),or as already said when i got luck i get some FS9 warnings and i can see no other planes. i think i've done it right with the csl folder. So can somebody say what went wrong and how can i fix it quick...becaue i want to fly oline!!!! thanks Lukas Regards, Lukas Kulik VATSIM Supervisor vACC-Germany
Dieter Brugger 810604 Posted December 11, 2004 at 01:50 PM Posted December 11, 2004 at 01:50 PM Hi Lukas, I can only help you with the FS warnings. ==> Read the SBRelay readme.txt file. There you will find the solution for the warnings. Dieter Brugger VATSIM Supervisor http://www.vacc.ch
Dave Weese 817228 Posted December 12, 2004 at 06:31 PM Posted December 12, 2004 at 06:31 PM Sometimes this problem can becaused by Norton or McAfee firewall/anti-vuris programs. Are you running any of those? Dave Weese (CXA007) Fleet Manager Canadian Xpress Virtual Airline® http://www.CanadianXpress.ca
Lukas Kulik 917478 Posted December 13, 2004 at 11:41 AM Author Posted December 13, 2004 at 11:41 AM I've got only "Antivir Guard for XP" Regards, Lukas Kulik VATSIM Supervisor vACC-Germany
Lennart Vedin Posted December 13, 2004 at 12:51 PM Posted December 13, 2004 at 12:51 PM > I've got only "Antivir Guard for XP" I should say, turn anti-virus programs service complete off, while install or run FS on line flying. Running anti-virus programs are not needed as firewall are needed. Better scan your computer for virus sometimes after connected to internet. / Lennart Vedin /
